The food! We started of with the Caribbean shrimp which is basically their version of blackened. Both my wife's drink and my drink from the bar tasted like there was absolutely no alcohol in them. But once you get into the parking lot, it is easy to spot! Check it out and enjoy!!! Moreįirst, let me get the bad out of the way and the ONLY reason I didn't give them a 5-star review. Now, it is a little hard to find because it is snuggled into The Fountains shopping center. Look, if you've read this far, you are obviously looking for a place to eat, and you will NOT go wrong here. Finally, I'll mention the bar (where I often enjoy my dinners!), and note that it is extremely well-stocked with select liquors, a variety of beers, and several wine options. Several side options are available but of special mention, are the Caribbean Rice, the homemade potato salad, and some of the best collard greens I've ever tasted. I would definitely recommend the Conch Chowder and the House Smoked Fish Dip to start. The fresh catch is always exceptional, but there are other very good menu options available too! jerk chicken, wood roasted pork, and lamb shank to name a few. You can get the fresh catch grilled, Cajun style, garlic & thyme or fried. ![]() ![]() Then since each dish is prepared by order, you can select from four options. The core menu offers the fresh catch(es) in one of three ways - on a sandwich, as part of a salad, or as part of a platter. The menu each week reflects what is available from the fishermen. The fish IS fresh, meaning that it is flown in from south Florida, not frozen and delivered. definitely the quality of the food served. Quite simply if you are looking for that excellent, fresh seafood restaurant in Charlotte, NC then look no more! You're here!! Chef Earl has expertly applied his seasoned, professional touch to all aspects of this restaurant - the menu, the decor, the service, and most.
